@abs how was your break?
It was released in autumn 1981, and eventually went to Number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in February 1982, and stayed there for six weeks. It was the first single released from the album Freeze Frame and was an early staple on MTV. It also peaked at Number 1 in Australia and Canada.
In the interest of living more harmoniously with my environment, my time would be much better spent insulating my house or making plans to move to a location that requires less heating and air conditioning.
Why don't I do this? I may, actually! But executing a big project is hard. My dream is that becoming a better writer and musician could lead to work in a city like Los Angeles where the weather is more moderate. But it's absolutely pie-in-the-sky stuff. I'll take enough rope to hang myself.

This has not been my experience. Even though I'm a weird and stubborn person, veganism has been, at best, an aspiration.
What about my car? It isolates me, it makes me lazy, it's dangerous to myself and others, it's expensive, polluting - a bad thing in every conceivable way. And yet, I drive. How can this be? It's because I live in a society, a system, an infrastructure.

Roma is worth seeing on the big screen
Roma is very moving, but even though you could pull any still from the movie, frame it, and hang it on the wall ( https://www.google.com/search?safe=off&biw=1463&bih=815&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=-c5fXMz-BYvX5gLytZTABQ&q=roma+cuaron ) it might be a little too on the nose for me.
There's really nothing for a viewer to consider - everything is shown.
A little mystery can be very powerful and very delightful, but Cuarón leaves nothing to the imagination.
That said, I wasn't thinking about narrative structure or character development; I was in the film
