I suppose if you always use "lay" to mean "lie," you have to come up with some other word, in this case, "lied," to be the new past tense of what should be "lie." 😳

Kids these days.

Running Fedora 34. Upgrade without any issues, except for one: I cannot run gnome-terminal in Sway, anymore. Maybe just a little issue, but I switched to Foot Terminal emulator, anyway.. Sooo... :)

I don't know if the gym helps me feel good directly, or if the gym helps me sleep well, and then sleeping well helps me feel good; either way, I feel good.

Rethinking if I really want to run all these virtual servers and stuff. Craig Mod calls this, my desire to tinker, "technical debt."

I'm reading Greg McKeown's new book about how to make it easier to do what matters. Greg's writing always resonates with me. I feel like I'm making progress.

I did my main lift and then one set each of accessories. Better than nothing.

I only made it to the gym once last month πŸ˜…

So I'm back even if I just do my main lift and leave.

My house is an absolute pigsty but apparently I have better things to do than clean it.

The fear of socioeconomic descent is real for me. Especially with certain things it bubbles to the surface. Right now I'm in a relatively expensive train (ICE in Germany). Every time I do this and the ticket gets checked, I have these thoughts around "What if one day I won't be able to easily afford a ticket and this check would be something to fear?".

I think this fear is part of what makes me stay in line with the capitalist system even though I dislike it so much.

I'm only missing one screw.

I left them in a plastic cup and they "spilled."

I guess I learned my lesson.

Also, I think I'm just going to stick with KDE since I get my Gnome fix on my desktop now.

I got my Pinebook Pro to boot! Now I just need to find the screws. I probably should have put them in a bag and taped it to the case πŸ˜…

what's that thing that deletes your fedi posts after a certain amount of time?

It could have been faulty hardware last time, and nothing to do with the fact that it was usb. I'm using a different dock now.

The last time I tried using btrfs over USB, my transfer failed, so I switched to esata, and it has been fine.

But sata hot plug doesn't work on my new machine even though it's enabled, so I'm trying btrfs over USB again.

I'm trusting btrfs to fail if there are any errors.

The office has an edgerouter and the network feels really fast, so I kind of want one, but not sure if I should get one with power over ethernet in case I want to add fancy wifi radios in the future, or cheap out for now. I can always use an injector.
